Event Management

Industries such as Sports and Recreation form a substantial part of Australian life, and with this involvement comes a substantial amount of risk.

With increasing insurance premiums and the increased frequency in legal pursuits, organisations and individuals involved in event planning and coordination are more concious of their requirement to identify and manage risk, before it results in a negative occurence.

GRA has worked with a number of organisations throughout the planning phase of events, with the view to ensuring that risks are identified and appropriately managed as part of the event management process.

Most recently, GRA has worked with the event management organisations for Schoolies Week (Gold Coast, Australia, 2003) and the Science Exposed Expo (Sydney, Australia, 2004), to ensure that risks relating to safety, security and impact of youth behaviour were appropriately identified prospectively and management strategies were implemented. GRA are pleased to state that both events ran smoothly without signficant incident.
