In recognition of the complexity of the Facility Management industry, effective management of risk, planning and practice is an essential component of the facility life cycle.

Organisations increasingly find themselves in uncertain times due to the impact of technology, globalisation and an ever increaisng pace of the facility lifecycle. These drivers represent enormous opporutnities, however the consequences of the facilure to adapt are also significant. Increased focus on security of facilities has also created an additional dimension of risk, impacting on the overall risk profile of Facility Management.

Over the years, GRA has contributed its experience to this industry by enhancing the knowledge base and applications of risk management with Facility Management organisations.

In addition to delivery of specific support and services to Facility Management organisaitons, GRA is the author of the "Facility Management Guidelines to Managing Risk", released in 2004 by the Facility Management Association of Australia.
