As one of the most active and influential risk management organisations in Australia, GRA regularly works closely with Government departments to assist in establishing well-integrated risk management policies to their existing company structures.
Our Government clients and projects have included the review and evaluation of the Safety Systems for the NSW Police Aviation Support Branch; conduct of a comprehensive risk assessment and development of a risk management plan for the Queensland Department of Premier and Cabinet regarding the conduct of "Schoolies Week"; and the development of specific risk management tools and delivery of support for goverment organisations such as the Victorian Police Air Wing, Newcastle City Council and NSW Rural Fire Service.
In addition, GRA have recently partnered with the NSW Department of State and Regional Development to develop the Small Business Guidelines for Managing Risk. This publication has recently been launched by the Minister for Regional Development and Small Business, receiving a very warm reception from Small Business owners in NSW, who continuously struggle with the management of risk in this volitile industry sector. The release of the Guidlines have been supported by the development of a training package, developed by GRA, designed to provide extra advice and direction for the management of risk in Small Business.
